Therapies - Removal of sweat glands (axilla)

Intervention:
Permanent removal of sweat glands in the axilla by curettage and suction. A small cut of 1 cm in the hairy axilla region is required for the passageway. This is a long-term procedure compared to the Botox treatment.

Post-treatment:
Slight pressure bandage for about 24 hours.

Risks:
Increased bleeding or inflammation is rare; a secondary treatment because of remaining gland residues is very seldom.

Recovery:
Back to work after two days. The sutures are removed after 8 days..
