Intervention:
Smoothening of wrinkles, lifting of the skin or removal of benign skin modifications by “laser skin resurfacing”. The laser vaporizes the superficial dermal layers and shrinks the collagenic fibres. This leads to a skin lifting.
Duration:
20 to 90 minutes depending on the scope of the intervention.

Local anaesthesia and twilight sleep or general anaesthesia.

Post-treatment:
The skin resembles a burn of second degree and regenerates within 1 to 2 weeks.
Risks:
Scar formation because of too intensive energy and deep burns, pigment modifications, herpes (especially in regard of disposed patients).
Recovery:
You are able to take part in normal activities after three weeks; the result lasts for a long time.
