Intervention:
The reason for a lot of wrinkles is the superactivity
of the subjacent musculature. Frontal wrinkles, wrinkles of anger and crow's feet are included. Botox is a muscle poison and paralyses the corresponding musculature and smoothes away the
subjacent wrinkles. It is also possible to successfully treat an excessive sweat gland production with Botox.

Minimal haematomas are rare; normally, the therapy is fully effective after 48 to 70 hours.
Risks:
To intensive paralysing symptoms with hanging eye brows or lids; soon repetition because of restricted effectiveness.
Recovery:
The patient is able to immediately take part in normal activities; effectiveness for about 6 months; it is also possible to improve migraine attacks with this treatment.
