Intervention:
If the upper leg skin is very slack, especially at the interior, the excessive skin is removed longwise and in a fusocellular way. In some cases it is indicated to perform a crosswise excision in the gluteal sulcus and crotch fold up to the inguinal region.

Post-treatment:
Swelling and tension sensation and a slight pain are normal for one to two days. Swellings even at the lower leg and ankle are normal; it is recommended to wearing a compression corsage. The scar is situated vertical at the interior upper leg and is staggered slightly to the back or is situated in the gluteal sulcus, crotch fold or inguineal fold.
Risks:
Broad scars and irregular scar formation, wound healing disorders are rare but possible, especially in regard of smokers.
Recovery:
The sutures are removed after three weeks. Slight activities are possible after one week. You can go back to work after about two weeks and sports are possible after four weeks.
