Intervention:
The removal of skin tumours, especially of malignant tumours, requires
a generous excision. In a lot of cases, it is not possible to cover the
resulting defect by a simple contraction. For this reason, in some
cases extreme skin and cutaneous muscle shifts or skin transplantations
become necessary. We adjust these interventions individually and we use
different techniques to remove the tumour in the healthy region on the
one hand and to achieve an aesthetic result on the other hand.
Surgeries - Skintumors
Duration:
1 to 2 hours depending from the scope of the intervention.
Anaesthesia:
often local anaesthesia, sometimes general anaesthesia
Ambulatory or in-stationary:
ambulatory or in-stationary
Post-treatment:
The scars are situated differentially depending on the result and technique. The sutures are removed after 8 to 12 days.
Risks:
A renewed resection can become necessary depending on the pathological result. Wound healing disorders and an excessive scarring is possible.
Recovery:
The patient can normally go back to work after 1 week.
