Intervention:
Plane rump muscles that can even not be strengthened by intensive muscle training may get into shape by an implantation of special silicone implants. These implants are inserted under the big rump muscle by a small cut at the height of the rump-bone so that they are not obstructing in a sitting position.
Surgeries - Rump enlargement
Duration:
1 to 2 hours
Anaesthesia:
general anaesthesia
Ambulatory or in-stationary:
in-stationary
Post-treatment:
The scar is about 6 cm long and is situated longitudinal over the rump-bone. Swelling, slight pain on pressure and haematomas are normal for a few days. It is possible to sit in an upright position as the implants are not situated above the ischium.
Risks:
A possible secondary correction because of a capsular fibrosis or a possible slipping of the implants.
Recovery:
The sutures are removed after three weeks. Slight work is possible after one week, the patient can completely go back to work after 2 weeks and sports can be started after 4 weeks.
