Intervention:
Men have the possibility to reduce their female breast forms to natural male sizes. Fatty tissue is drawn by suction and/or excessive mammary gland tissue is removed.
Duration:
1 to 2 hours
Surgeries - Gynaecomastia
Anaesthesia:
general anaesthesia
Ambulatory or in-stationary:
ambulatory, in-stationary in regard of more intensive interventions
Post-treatment :
Swelling, temporary numbness, slight pain.
The scars are normally situated at the nipple margin.
Risks:
Infection, wound healing disorders, wound liquid formation, slack skin or excessive scarring.
Recovery:
The patient can go back to work after 3 to 7 days. Sports are possible after 3 weeks. The swelling may remain for three months. After the suction, compression underwear should be worn for at least 3 weeks.
