Intervention:
A too small chin (the so-called “receding chin”) is enlarged by an implantation of special silicone or other plastic implants. A healthy tooth position is mandatory.

Post-treatment :
The crosswise scar is not visible and is situated in the oral vestibule. The sutures are resorbable and don`t have to be removed. A butterfly bandage is required for five days to keep the implant in its position.
Risks:
Increased haematomas, infection or slipping of the implant.
Recovery:
The patient can go back to work after 2 days. The swelling remains for about 10 days.
