Intervention:
If the skin or hypodermis between navel and knees is slack because of weight reduction or other reasons, it can be lifted in a circulatory way. A large part of the slack skin is removed and the remaining skin is lifted towards the head so that the complete abdomen, the rump and the upper legs up to the knees are lifted.

Post-treatment:
The scar is situated circulatory at the hypogastrium and above the rump around the body. Swelling, haematoma and slight pain are normal. You are physically weak for 2 to 3 days and bed rest is required.
Risks:
Extremer haematomas, pool of tissue liquid after the surgery that sometimes requires a punctuation, wound healing disorders.
Recovery:
You can leave the clinic after 5 to 6 days; the sutures are removed after 2 to 3 weeks. The patient can go back to work after 2 to 3 weeks depending on the activities and constitution.
